I believe great learning design is not about delivering content — it's about engineering the conditions for people to think, decide, and perform differently.

For over a decade, I have worked at the intersection of instructional design, organizational performance, and human development. My clients range from national banking groups and state-owned enterprises to tech startups and government agencies — organizations where the stakes of learning are real.

What makes my work distinctive is the integration of evidence-based design frameworks (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick/Phillips, Bloom's) with experiential facilitation methods — including ProPlay, the internationally certified Playmobil-based facilitation methodology I use to help teams explore complex organizational challenges through metaphorical play.

Beyond consulting, I co-founded ILD Society to elevate the profession of learning design across Indonesia, and continue to write, facilitate, and build tools that help practitioners do this work at a higher standard.

Learning is not an event — it's an architecture. My job is to make that architecture worth building.

ProPlay Methodology

Where serious thinking
meets playful exploration

ProPlay is an internationally certified facilitation methodology that uses Playmobil figures and objects as metaphorical tools to help individuals and teams articulate complex ideas, map organizational dynamics, and surface hidden assumptions that traditional workshops can't reach.

As a certified International ProPlay Facilitator, I integrate this methodology into leadership programs, problem-solving workshops, and strategic alignment sessions — creating a unique space where participants can be both playful and profoundly insightful at the same time.

The result: deeper conversations, more honest self-reflection, and learning that transfers back to the workplace in measurable ways.

Why ProPlay Works
01
Metaphor Unlocks Insight
Physical objects bypass defensive thinking and open deeper conversation.
02
Everyone Has a Voice
Play equalizes hierarchy — the quietest person often builds the most revealing scene.
03
Tangible = Memorable
What participants build with their hands, they remember with their minds.
04
Safe Space for Hard Truths
Discussing a figure's story is far easier than discussing your own.
05
From Play to Performance
Every ProPlay session ends with concrete, actionable commitments.

How I Work

A consulting-grade
approach to learning

01
Diagnose the Real Gap
TNA, stakeholder interviews, and performance data analysis. Training is never the first assumption.
02
Design for Transfer
Backward design from job performance. Every activity earns its place in the program architecture.
03
Facilitate for Depth
Experiential methods including ProPlay, real-case integration, and deliberate reflection structures.
04
Measure What Matters
Kirkpatrick Levels 1–4, Phillips ROI, behavioral follow-up. Evidence-based accountability for results.

Design Philosophy — 4 Core Principles
01
Design backwards from performance
Every element starts with: what does the participant need to do differently on the job? Content earns its place by enabling that specific behavior — not by covering a topic comprehensively.
02
The 10% is the ignition, not the engine
A workshop alone cannot change behavior. Formal learning is the catalyst — the real transformation happens through the 90% that follows: mentoring, coaching, and supported on-the-job practice.
03
Technology amplifies human facilitation
Four proprietary platforms power each phase — but they augment, not replace, the human consultant. Assessment data informs design; LBES data feeds the next program cycle.
04
Measurement is the start of the loop
Final evaluation is not a closing ceremony — it is the data input for the next design cycle. Every program leaves the organization with better insight than when it started.
